"The wide range of this spear makes it adaptable to many situations. Its strength lies in its length, but in cramped quarters, this backfires, and slices ricochet off walls."

The extra range on Estoc can be really nice for spacing compared to Rapier. Also, the Estoc I believe has shield splitter, great for damaging through the shield of your opponent. The crits wont be as good, but I think thats okay, you dont go either of these weapons specifically for crit playstyle. 6. Reply.

Whenever someone invades me, I, for the most part, cheese them mercilessly with but a few simple light stabs from Estoc. It's absolutely insane how much damage it does, in both PvE and PvP, and I've yet to fight anyone else who uses it. I'm the only person I've run into who seems to use the glory that is Bestoc.Pike. Starting this new character, I'm rushing for the Estoc. It's amazing. It's one of if not the best weapon right now (rivaled by I believe the Sunlight Straight Sword and the Dark Sword). You have low stamina costs. A decent C/C scaling with refined. A great move set.Estoc is the best one in the game because: 1) It has highest damage per-hit of all rapier. 2) It has the highest reach eleminating the problems that i have with any other rapier. 3) It has standart / slash damage horizontal AOE R2 attacks unlike any other rapier, making it the ultimate rapier to rule them all.Estoc for parrying and poking, balder for the fast attack, little stamina loss and fast regeneration. Is the enemy performing an attack animation during your hit? Yes: you get counter damage No: you get normal damage The timing window is absolutely absurd, especially on the fights with big, lumbering bosses. I am thinking estoc.
