My suggestion would be to visit the browning site . 1st you should be able to find the date of manufacture and perhaps determine a model . 2nd you can download the manual .read it cover to cover .from there you should be able to disassemble the gun and diagnose the problem .

Rudolph31 .30-06. You’re saying Trigger when you mean Trigger Plate, though in your case you replaced both. In the OP’s case, he’s got the new Trigger and Safety. They don't go far because when the barrel moved out of battery the Cartridge Stop moved into White's path. The returning barrel moves the Cartridge Stop back flush with the receiver and White and Blue continue aft until White's rim hits the Carrier Latch.Set the single ring down by your reciever on the mag tube. keep the wide one with the bronze bushing up by your mag tube cap. Keep a very light film of good gun oil on the magazine tube where these parts slide on. Make sure you fully compress the barrel into the action when tightening your magazine cap.
