I read in a post on here that volume is divided by 1.5 to get the weight. That comes out to 77.333.#5 You can WEIGH BH209 charges or Measure by Volume. I was just curious so I weighed 110 gr by volume on my reloading scale and came up with 87.26 grs. If I do the math, at 87.26 grs gives me 124.6 grs by volume. I use a brass sliding measurer. With a powder measure set at 100 grains, the charge of black powder will actually weigh around 100 grains, while the same volume of Triple Seven will weigh about 78 grains. And 100 grains volume of Pyrodex will have yet a different weight, as will Blackhorn 209, and Alliant Black MZ. But for our purposes, all of them are "100 grain loads".
